Logos That are Good.
There are millions of companies worldwide competing to catch our attention, relying on their logos to set them apart from the rest. Some logos are great, but others need improvement. Some might need improvements by color, or some might need to be redone entirely to show what the company is truly about.
Let’s look at some of the best, and some of the worst.
Batman
This Batman logo is good because it is symmetrical, with easy-flowing shapes, curves, and sharp points. These elements pull the whole logo together.
Made by DC Comics
POSCA
The Posca logo is good because the Font is consistent. Blocky edges and slight points create a flowing logo that flows into each other.

FedEx
Its proximity to the other letters creates the implied shape of the arrow, which shows the movement of packages.
Made by The Brand FedEx
Trader Joe’s
The simplicity of the food, which stays in line with the font of the words, creates a flowing movement throughout the logo.

Not as Great logos.
Logos that leave something to be desired…
Kroger
The simple and elegant thought is that it is proportional, with the logos K and G not flowing seamlessly into the other letter.
Made by The Brand Kroger
Ingles
The Ingles logo is designed in a blocky style with some sharp angles. The G and the S have very angled surfaces that are not found in other shapes.
Made by The Brand Ingles
Twitter or X
The X is not proportional or symmetrical, and it appears to be a slightly thicker letter.
Made by The Brand X
Google Earth
The Google Earth logo fails to show what the app is genuinely used for; it just looks like a blue ball that could be anything.
